I would assume that since this is a vaccination and not anti-viral treatment, that this is a routine vaccination for Hep B as is required by most hospitals prior to commencement of work.

As long as you are going through the vaccination schedule, there should be no problem with employment, and as long as you are a careful clinician, the likelihood of a contaminated sharps injury is low.

Don't fret; everything should be fine. Continue your course at the appropriate time, and continue to use the idea of Universal/Standard Precautions. I wouldn't think you have anything to worry about.
