I'm in a big mess :( I need help(hepatitis B vaccination)?

was late in getting my first dose so I'll manage to get the second one due this week; a month before starting to work in a hospital
I know that an interval of at least 4 months is required between the 2nd and 3rd doses ...you do the math

So I’d like to know the seriousness of my situation… should I like take a year off or something? Do I have a reason to be worried or am I being paranoid here?

You don't mention it, however, from your post I assume you have sustained a needle stick injury - is this the case? If so, was the patient hep B positive? (I assume the patient has been tested).

If the above is the case, you should have consulted a doctor ASAP and arranged appropriate treatment.

I would assume that since this is a vaccination and not anti-viral treatment, that this is a routine vaccination for Hep B as is required by most hospitals prior to commencement of work.

As long as you are going through the vaccination schedule, there should be no problem with employment, and as long as you are a careful clinician, the likelihood of a contaminated sharps injury is low.

Don't fret; everything should be fine. Continue your course at the appropriate time, and continue to use the idea of Universal/Standard Precautions. I wouldn't think you have anything to worry about.
