Microdontia

Hi,
I have an oral presentation at uni coming up and the topic is the developmental abnormalty Microdontia. My group is finding that there is not much information on this topic and was wondering if anyone could assist in sending us in the right direction. A journal database, a peer revieved website or something similar would be very helpful.

Hi Karina.

From memory, microdontia is more a symptom of other diseases/problems rather than a condition or disease in itself. This may be the reason why it is difficult to find a lot of information about it.

There will however, be many articles that mention microdontia in relation to other conditions such as Agenesis and microdontia of permanent teeth as lat...[Cancer. 2005] - PubMed Result

If you haven't already done so, do a pubmed search.
