Anyone try teeth whitening?

i drink a lot of coffee and i was wondering if anyone has used whitening products to get rid of yellow tint coffee drinking makes your teeth?

i think Crest whitening trays would really help us coffee drinkers out! i work with the people at Crest and the whitening trays whiten your teeth quickly and it''s only about 30 minutes a day.

you can still drink coffee after and before whenever you and still get whiter teeth, anyone think about whitening your teeth or using Crest?

I have never found any of the over the counter "bleaching" products to be particularly effective. Some of the whitening toothpastes are simply more coarse than the usual toothpastes and remove external staining (eg coffee, tea and red wine staining), but most people seem to be after an actual change in their tooth colour.

This can only really be achieved using strong bleaching agents, and should be done under the supervision of a trained professional.

Teeth discoloring is becoming a great problem for coffee/tea/red wine drinkers. Because these are the liquids which effect the most on teeth. I have studied about teeth whitening and have found that, the things that keeps our teeth natural white are

* Hydrogen Peroxide
* Carbamide Peroxide
* Sodium Percarbonate
* Sodium Perborate

These ingredients are very important for teeth whitening.So anyone who will go to the market to buy a teeth whitening toothpaste, check these ingredients in it. There are many whitening toothpastes available in the market, so check before purchasing.

Hey Johnnydew thanks for the advice about the teeth whitener ingredients. I just checked the 5 minute teeth whitener I bought and it only has one of those ingredients. I'm returning this product very shortly and looking for something better. I will be writing down the ingredients you told us about to see if there are any products that have those ingredients. If not, I am not wasting my money on something that doesn't work and will just make an appointment to see the dentist.
